Helen Klein was born in DesMoines, Iowa. Her family moved to Dakota. Her parents and some of her brothers and sisters moved to Prince Albert, Sask., Canada.
She Married George Z Copp 1889 in Aberdean, South Dakota
George & Helen continued west, settling in Moscow, Idaho. A drought and complete crop failure moved them to the Echo Valley Community at Colville, Washington
Here they secured a homestead upon which they lived until 1900, erecting, meantime, good buildings and other improvements. Then they purchased one hundred and twenty acres which is improved with residence, barn and other outbuildings. This property he disposed of in 1903, purchasing the quarter section upon which he lives at the times of this article. Forty acres of this land are cultivated, and he has good buildings and other improvements

Mrs. George Coop of Echo died at the Colville sanitarium May 1, following an operation. She was 44 years of age and leaves a husband and seven children. The funeral services were held from the Colville Congregational church Monday afternoon and interment was made in Highland cemetery.

The funeral services for Mrs. Helen M. Copp of Echo were held from the Congreational church at Colville on Monday at 1:30 pm, Rev G.H. Rice officiating. She died at the Colville sanitarium on May 1, 1913, after a brief illness. She leaves a husband, George Copp, and seven children, the oldest being about 19 years old. The deceased was 44 years, 5 months and 4 days of age. She and her husband had moved to Stevens county in 1895, where they have lived ever since. She was born in Clark county, Iowa, in the year 1864. The husband and children of the deceased live on a farm near Echo. The many friends and relatives of the family came to Colville to follow the body to its last resting place.
