Wilma C. Bobinmyer, 89, died Saturday (Feb. 25, 2012), at the Cedar Living Center in Oberlin. Wilma was born March 23, 1922, in Herndon, Kansas, to Michael J. and Carrie (Sattler) Kleidosty.
Wilma lived on a farm near Herndon for 23 years, moved to Denver for 18 years, and returned to Herndon in 1987. She moved to the Cedar Living Center in 2008.
Wilma married Douglas Bobinmyer on Jan. 23, 1945, in Herndon.
Wilma was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Christian Mother's Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Douglas Bobinmyer, I, on Dec. 3, 2000; sister, Helen Hallam; great grandson, Nicholas Hosaka and step-grandson, Brian Bobinmyer
Wilma is survived by: son, Douglas E. Bobinmyer, II, Herndon, KS.; daughters, Carol Kumpus, of Oberlin,KS. and Patsy Marintzer of Idalia, CO.; brother, Eugene Kleidosty of Herndon, KS.; sister, Eileen and husband, Virgil Portschy of Herndon, KS.; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Final Resting Place: St. Mary's Cemetery, Herndon, KS.
