Aubrey Tillman Kitchens -MACON - Aubrey Tillman Kitchens, 75, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2009 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M. Sunday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with burial in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Twiggs County. Brother Wilson Pinnell will officiate. The family will meet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home and suggests that those who wish make memorial contributions to their charity of choice. -Mr. Kitchens, son of the late Elton Poland Kitchens and Lizzie Mae Ingram Kitchens, was born in Twiggs County and had lived in this area all his life. He honorably served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. Mr. Kitchens was a Union Carpenter and Millwright with Local 144 for more than thirty years. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a man who loved his family, his home and his county. Mr. Kitchens was preceded in death by a brother, William Kitchens, a sister, Doris Wallace and two grandchildren, T. J. Jernigan and Stephanie Jones. -Survivors include his wife of twenty-eight years, Marzelle Bridgeman Kitchens of Macon; his children, Michael T. Kitchens, Sr. of Jackson, George D. Smarr of Macon and Tara Melissa Smarr of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Michael T.
