Dazelle "Daisy" E. Kitchen born on December 20, 1924 in San Marcos, Texas entered into rest on May 4, 2011 in Floresville, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Willie Kitchen; her daughters, Gerry Avallone and Greg Chitwood, Diana Spencer and husband Fred, and Maurine Carver and husband Will; son, William M. Kitchen; grandchildren, George Vasill Jr., Melissa Robertson, Jared Rosckes and wife Cindy, Crystal Carle, Alicia Kitchen Wall and Schuyler and serena M. Kitchen; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Meagan Landon, Carson and Brayden; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 5-9:00 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Medina Children's Home, 21300 State Highway 16N, Medina, Texas 78055.
