Lois Faye (Griffith) Green, age 66, of Benton, KY, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY. Mrs. Green was a homemaker and was a member of Hamlet Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Albert Kirtley and the late Clara Mae (Carpenter) Ewing. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Jimmy Griffith and Glendon Griffith; and five sisters: Margie Wink, Ruby Greathouse, Dorothy Pate, Billie Jean Ewing, and Stella Fleming.
She is survived by her husband: Thomas T. Green of Benton, KY; one son: Thomas Deron Green of Benton, KY: one daughter: Dana Howard and husband Jeff of Benton, KY; one daughter-in-law: Marsha Green of Paducah, KY; one Brother: John Kirtley of Paducah, KY; two sisters: Betty Hook of Paducah, KY and Barbara English of Benton, KY; eight grandchildren: Davy Bosch of Benton, KY, Timothy Green of Benton, KY, Matthew Green of Benton, KY, Aaron Green of Colorado, Jordan Klingaman of Illinois, Alicia Faye Green of Paducah, KY, Melissa Green of Paducah, KY and Ashley Bosch-Renfro of Calvert City, KY, and one great grandchild: Aurianna Green
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 10, 2012, with Rev. Jack Studie officiating. Interment will be at Maple Springs Cemetery, Benton, KY.
