April Sue Kirtley, age 10, passed away of accidental injuries and now rests safely in the arms of Jesus. She would have been a fifth grader at CTA in Cedar Springs. April liked to play with friends and used her mothering skills with her twin sisters. Drawing was one of her favorite activities, and her art work adorns the refrigerator at home and at her grandparents' home. When April visited with her grandparents, she rested on their laps (her much loved spot) while listening to her favorite stories being read to her. April was a special joy and loved eating hot dogs and watching videos. She learned about Jesus and the Bible and liked attending Sandy Larsen and Josephine Wislocki's Sunday school class. She is survived by her mother, Lori Meno; father, Todd Kirtley of Stanton; sisters, Emily Meno and Tiffany Meno; grandparent, Hendrik and Geraldine Schriever; great grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Hoeksema; aunts, uncles, and cousins, Brenda Kirtley and fiancÚ Charles Svacha, Sandy Smith and family, Bobbi Schriever, and Robbie and Heather Kirtley and family.
