Birth: Sep. 17, 1918
Death: Aug. 14, 1943


2nd Lieutenant Kirschner was the co-pilot
aboard U.S. Army Air Corps B-24E Liberator
#41-29032, serving with the 453rd Bomb Group,
735th Bomb Squadron.

While on a training flight out of the
Pocatello Army Airfield, he was killed when
the bomber struck a mountainside thirteen
miles south of Dubois, Wyoming.

All eleven aboard perished:

2nd Lt. Lyle P Schroeer

Sgt. Joseph Baiocchi

(Grinnell) Kirschner. Lived at 604 Shelby
Street, St. Paul, Minnesota.
