REDDING -- Pauline Kirkpatrick Abbe, 77, of Redding died Monday, June 26, 2006, in Redding.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Burial will be at Redding Memorial Park.
Born July 29, 1928, in Honolulu, she moved to Shasta County in 1959, to Santa Barbara in 1983, and then back to Redding in 2003.
She was a legislative aide for then-state Assemblyman Jack O'Connell in Santa Barbara, a housing counselor for the city of Redding, a member of the League of Women Voters and a board member of Shasta Land Trust.
Survivors include daughters Jenny Abbe Moyer of Redding, Jessica of La Honda, Sarah "Sally" Murray Osborn of Tahoe City, and Martha Murray Salzman of Berkeley; sister Nancy Morrell of Brunswick, Maine; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shasta Land Trust, 1918 West St., Redding, CA 96001, or McConnell Arboretum, 840 Auditorium Drive, Redding, CA 96001.
Arrangements are being handed by Lawncrest Chapel in Redding.
