        Mrs. Caroline Kirchman
    Mrs. Caroline Kirchman, an esteemed and well known resident of this city, died on Wednesday night at 10 o'clock at the family home, 65 Hanover street, city, following a lingering illness of complications.
    Mrs. Kirchman was born in Bad Wildungen, Waldek, Germany, and came to this country in 1863, arriving at Philadelphia where she resided for several years and then moved to this city where she resided since. Mrs. Kirchman was a devout member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and was active in all affairs of the church. She was the oldest member of the Rebecca society and recently was presented with a handsome gift by the society.
    Mrs. Kirchman is survived by one daughter. Mrs. Elizabeth Condon with whom she made her home, and three sons, Henry and Charles of Allentown, and Richard of Philadelphia; also an adopted son, Henry of the Heights section; also fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the family home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
