AYDELOTT--At the residence of her son, Mr. W. Z. Aydelott, in Floyd county, on Friday, the 22d inst., Mrs. Catharine Aydelott, consort of the late John Aydelott.

The deceased was born in the State of Pennsylvania, July 29th, 1800. She was the oldest child of Jacob and Agnes Kintner. January 27th, 1820, she was united in marriage with John Aydelott, in this town, Corydon. This union lasted only fourteen brief years, for on the 23d day of November, 1834, just forty-four years yesterday, her husband was removed from her by death. She was the mother of five children, four sons and one daughter. Agnes, the daughter, died many years ago in her early childhood. The only other child, who preceded her to the other world, is Jacob. He died a few weeks since in Paducah, Kentucky. The three sons surviving are George, William and John, who were all present to mourn her loss. The deceased was one of the oldest citizens of Floyd county, being at the time of her death in the 79th year of her age. She died as she had lived, a firm believer in the atoning blood of her Saviour. To her friends, just before she died, she said she accepted Jesus as a complete Redeemer, and was resigned to the will of God. --The Corydon Democrat (Corydon, Indiana); 02 Dec 1878

(Her brother, Jacob Lamb Kintner, is interred at nearby Corydon, Indiana. His F/G Memorial is No. 82738619.)
