Grandma, I have so many fond childhood memories of us playing gin rummy, checkers, and lots of good talks and story telling. I loved asking you questions about your life during the Depression and the like. You were a woman of character, grace, and humility. You were the epitome of a giver. I am so thankful that you passed while at my home for Thanksgiving so that you were not alone. You and grandpa were one of those gems you do not see much anymore.
