Darlington- Funeral services for Mrs. Byron Bennett, 64, who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Johnson, Calamine, will be held at 2 pm Sunday at the Methodist church here with the Rev. E.J. Jeffrey officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett was born in the town of Linden, Jan 16, 1876 the daughter of William and Mary Ann King. She was married to Byron Bennett March 1, 1894, and moved with him to a farm in Willow Springs township where they lived for 39 years. In 1933 she moved to Darlington for four years, and then went to Calamine.
Survivors include two sons, Henry and Fremont, Darlington; Mrs. Johnson; two sisters, Mrs. William Short, Beloit; Mrs. Minnie Markee, Thorp, Wis.; two half brothers, Byron King, Willow Springs and William King, Dodgeville, and four grandchildren.
