"Lillie N. Hedges 1911-2006
Lillie N. Hedges went to be with the Lord Dec. 11, 2006, at the Tucson Medical Center. She was born in Miles, Texas, to S.A. and Charity King on March 14, 1911. She married J. R. Hedges in 1934. In 1940, J.R. and Lillie moved to the Elfrida area where they farmed for 40 years.

Hedges of Elfrida; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Lillie also leaves behind numerous cousins in California, New Mexico, Texas and Arizona.
The service was Saturday, Dec. 16th at 2 p.m., at the Elfrida Baptist Church, followed by burial at the McNeal Cemetery. A reception at the Elfrida Baptist Church followed burial.
Pallbearers were Gale Hedges, Brian Hedges, Tim Hedges, Jacob Hedges, Jim McWilliams and Larry Waters. Honorary pallbearers are Ernie White, James Grizzle, Vernie Taylor and Clifford Taylor.
