BALL, ELIZABETH KING, was born in Ossining, NY, on August 26, 1919. She was the daughter of Colonel Harry Lee King, U.S. Army, and Gertrude Secor King. Betty, as her friends and family called her, graduated from the University of Kansas and the Kansas State School of Nursing in 1942.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, George C. Ball, Jr., Captain of U.S. Navy Retired; sister, Dolores King, and her four sons, Eric, Russ, Alan and Bryan.
