He was born May 28, 1897, in Parkersburg, son of the late James and Elizabeth Milstead King and was a lifelong resident of Parkersburg. He was a veteran of World War I.
He retired from the American Viscose Corp. three years ago and was a member of the Wayside Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Roby King; a sister, Mrs. Osa Leona Jones, Akron; and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Vaughan Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
