Lilly Marie King Kennedy was born on May 31, 1912 in Wills Point TX and passed away on May 22, 2012 in Dallas TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry King and Jennie Corinne Taylor King; her son, Jack Herbert Pool, Jr. and 12 siblings. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside service will be held on May 26, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Restland Funeral Home in the Rose Garden.

A celebration of her life will follow at 3:00 at Grace United Methodist Church, 4105 Junius in Dallas. Memorials may be made to Juliette Fowler Homes, Inc., 1234 Abrams Rd. in Dallas or to Grace UMC.

Marie was a seamstress for many years. She pursued her love of plants and flowers by becoming a master gardener. She created beautiful gardens everywhere she lived and volunteered for many years at the Fair Park Conservatory and the Dallas Civic Garden Center. She was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered with great joy.
