Wanda "Beth" Kane, 89, of Anderson, passed away on October 19, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born on February 28, 1924 in Boone County, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. Beth graduated from Sheridan High School. She retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors and enjoyed the Delco Remy travel group. She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday School and participated in the quilting group and ladies' circle. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star #151 and Anderson Women's Business Association. Beth enjoyed baking cookies and tatting for others. The family wishes to thank Greta Cecil, Brenda Hoover and CJ's Abundant Care for all their love and concern. Beth is survived by her daughter, Lana Kay Rich of Anderson, IN, granddaughter, Kathryn "Kathy" Rich (Sheldon) Benedict, great-grandchildren, Madison and Connor Benedict. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James T. Kane, mother, Hazel (Louks) King, father, Emery King, husband, James T. Kane, son-in-law, Robert Rich.
