Richard C. "Hoss" King passed away on December 11, 2013 at the age of 72 years.

Beloved husband of Laura Fuselier King by second marriage and of the late Maxine Champagne King by first marriage.

Father of Cindy Roux, Kim DeBautte (Patty), Kitty Friloux (Mark), Stacey Babin (Lyle), Crissy Welsh and Missie Miller.

Grandfather of Chrissie, Jeremy, Tiffany, Michael, B.J., Austin, Heather, Jade and Amanda. Great-grandfather of Maci, Makayla, McKenzie, Lily and Landon.

Brother of Donald King (Elaine) and his close cousin Terry King (Bonnie).

Son of the late Dorothy Kammerer King and Eli H. King.

Also survived by nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Richard served his country in the U.S. Navy and later worked as a shop foreman for Source Production. He retired from Avondale Shipyard as a welding inspector with over 40 years of service.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Luling United Methodist Church, 134 Lakewood Drive, Luling, LA (in the First Union Presbyterian Church complex) on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Services will follow. Interment will take place at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft, LA.
