Mrs. Kingsland was the daughter of Alice and Benjamin Woolley and was born at Deal. On January 14th, 1840, she married Josiah Kingsland and he died two years later. Mrs. Kingsland had lived for 39 years in the house where she died. She had been a member of the First Reformed church of Long Branch for 21 years. Mrs. Kingsland leaves two daughters. They are Miss Zilpha A. Kingsland, who lived at home, and Josephine, wife of Samuel W. Hendrickson of Deal. Two sisters also survive her. They are Mrs. William B. Eaton and Mrs. Zilpha Chadwick of Elberon.
