Deceased Name: KING, HELEN

Helen Virginia King July 27, 1920 January 13, 2011 Helen King of San Antonio Texas passed away on January 13th, 2011 at the age of 90. Helen was born in Kansas City, Kansas on July 27, 1920 to Chauncie and Rachel Gibson. She was the eldest of 3 children. Helen met the love of her life, Loren, at Wyandott High School in Kansas City where they were hall monitors together. Their life together began 69 years ago on July 1, 1941. Navy travels took them to Jacksonville, FL, Olathe, KS, Guam, Northern CA, Memphis, TN and San Diego, CA. Helen is survived by her daughter Jann and son-in-law Ray Rouille of San Antonio, TX, son Don of White City, Oregon, great granddaughter Joelle Solorzano, her husband Jesse and four great grandchildren, and her sister Phyllis Rauh. Helen is preceded in death by her husband Loren, her sister Lolly Gish and her parents. A memorial service will be held in San Antonio, TX on February 1st at 10:00 am at San Pedro Presbyterian Church. Helen will be greatly missed by all who loved her, laughed with her and whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Helen to San Pedro Presbyterian Church Sunshine Fund, 14900 San Pedro, San Antonio, TX 78232.
