Ann Ruth Leidhecker, 68, of 2313 W. Fourth St., died Sunday, July 17, 2011, at her home with her family at her side, following a lengthy illness.
Ann and her husband, Donald Eugene Leidhecker, observed their 49th anniversary on Jan. 20.
Ann was a Licensed Practical Nurse, who gave a lot of private duty care to many people. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, the Lycoming Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Treaty Elm Chapter of the Colonial Dames and the Order of the Eastern Star. She made lineage quilts, enjoyed genealogical research and crocheting and was a former Girl Scout Leader.
Born June 20, 1943, in South Williamsport, she was the daughter of William Floyd King and Mae Ada Tiebohl Guinter.
Surviving besides her husband and her mother of Montoursville, are daughters, Ruth Arlene (Robert Eugene Jr.) Spencer of Liberty and Vicki Ann (Anthony) Bruno of Cumming, Ga.; brothers, William C. (Barbara) Guinter of Williamsport and Jeffrey (Vickie) Guinter of Muncy; grandchildren, Rebecca Ada Mae (Adam Joseph) Yungwirth, Rachael Mary Ann Spencer, Anthony Donald Bruno and Isabella Mae Bruno; and great- grandchildren, Austin Joseph and Adalyne Mae Yungwirth.
Memorial services were held at the convenience of the family. Interment is in Wildwood Cemetery.
The family provided the flowers and suggests donations to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 2233 Linn St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
