Bennie was really my uncle by marriage, but he and my Aunt Evelyn took me at just a few weeks old and brought me to their home and raised me as one of their own. Bennie was the son of Will King & Clara King of Rocky Mount, NC. preceded in death by wife Evelyn Morgan King . He leaves three daughters; Elizabeth, Jeannette and Caroline, and a son, David.
