MRS. I. N. BONTA
Mrs. Sallie Bonta, wife of I. N, Bonta, was born at Edwardsville, Illinois, November 10, 1840, and died at her home near Lakenan, Tuesday August 19, after an illness of about two years of Bright s disease. She was the mother of five children, one of whom, Mattie, preceded her in death. Those who survive are: Mrs. J. W. Kidwell, near this city, J. W. Bonta, of Fair View, S. A., of Brookfield, and Cassie and John at home. She is also survived by her husband to whom she was married in March, 1866.
The deceased was a faithful wife and a kind and indulgent mother, who will be greatly missed not only by her family, but by the community in which she lived.
Funeral services took place from her late home at 10 o'clock a. m. yesterday, conducted by Rev. A. B. Culbertson. Burial in the cemetery at this place.
