Lt. Col. Charles M. Kincheloe, USAF retired, 91, of Ardmore, died Jan. 22, 2001, in the Norman hospital. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia, with full military honors will be conducted in April.
Born Aug. 1, 1909, at Westfield, Ill., he enlisted in the Army Air Corps March 12, 1928, and retired 31 years later after seeing duty in Nichols Field, Philippine Islands, and Cairo, Egypt, during World War II; Far East Air Force in Tokyo, Japan during the Korean War; ending his career in Ardmore Air Force Base as deputy commander, retiring April 30, 1959. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, American Legion, VFW, AARP, Retired Officers Association, senior citizens and Methodist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Hazel Karen Kincheloe, Spring, Texas; and brother, Thomas W. Kincheloe, Carrollton, Texas.
