Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in Elk Creek Presbyterian
Church for Mrs. Laura Claxton 74, who died Monday night in the Millard Rest Home in
Norwood. She was a lifelong resident of Wright county and is survived by a daughter, Mrs.
Lawrence Atkinson; a brother, Bill Kincheloe; three grandchildren. Rev. W. A. Burney was the
officiating minister. Burial was in Elk Creek cemetery.
