Jimmy George Kimberlin, 56, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with Bill Goodwin and Cecil Burch, both of East Amarillo Church of Christ, and Keith Boutwell of Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mr. Kimberlin was born in Greenville. He was a Navy veteran. He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of East Amarillo Church of Christ and the National Association of Letter Carriers.
He married Beth Kimbrel in 1965 in Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Stacy Munoz of San Antonio and Laura Merrill of Oklahoma City; a brother, David Kimberlin of Rowlett; his mother, Aylene Kimberlin of Amarillo; and two grandchildren.
The family will be at 4201 Camp Lane and requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center or the American Cancer Society.
