Mrs. Bok Kimball Dies Here Tuesday
Mrs. Bok Kimball, Sr., 63, widow of a Paris furniture manufacturing executive, died Tues at 4:10 p.m. at her home, 1003 S. Main Street. She had been in ill health the past 14 months.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Fry & Gibbs Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Paul Cardwell, pastor of First Methodist Church. Interment will be made at Evergreen Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Bok Kimball, Jr., Paris; one daughter, Mrs. W. H. Ayers, Jr., Paris; two brothers, T. J. Caldwell, Benton, La., and S. J. Caldwell, Plain Dealing, La.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Wyche, Benton, La., and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Kimball, the former Miss Margaret Elizabeth Caldwell, was born Dec. 21, 1888 at Plain Dealing, La., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Caldwell. She attended teachers college at Natchitoches, La., and taught school at Plain Dealing before her marriage to Mr. Kimball in October, 1912.
She was a member of First Methodist Church and its Friendship Class here and was active in church work before her health failed. She was also a former member of the Lydia Bible Club and the Texas A&M Mothers Club here.
Her husband died April 23, 1951.
