Death Claims John R. Kilpatrick After Long Illness
John R. Kilpatrick, age 67 years, of Arcadia, died early Tuesday morning at a Shreveport sanitarium. He had been in ill health for several years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Arcadia Baptist church, with Rev. B.A. Miley, pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Arcadia cemetery, under the direction of Conger funeral home of Arcadia.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. J.R. Kilpatrick; two sons, Milton and Jewel Kilpatrick of Arcadia; five daughters, Mrs. C.L. Tabor Jr., Homer, Mrs. O.A. Kirkpatrick and Mrs. Howard Roberson, Shreveport, Mrs. J.L. Shaver, Arcadia, and Mrs. Floyd Dandridge, Minden.
