MRS. IRENE KILGORE
Mrs. Irene Dovie Kilgore, 33, 1419 Filmore Street died yesterday at 8:35 p.m., at her residence following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 1 p.m., at the Collier-Butler Chapel with the Rev. Don Cox, the Rev. Eugene Wealtly and the Rev. H.J. Stansell officiating.
Burial will be in Forrest Cemetery with Tom Spurlock, Marvin Young, Melvin Morgan, M.P. Wilkerson, Wayne Wilkerson and Hayden Banks as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be all personal friends. The body will remain at Collier-Butler through the hour of service.
A native and resident of Etowah County most of her life, Mrs. Kilgore was a member of the McEntyre Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ross F. Kilgore: a daughter, Renee Kilgore; her father, Edon R. Wilderson; a brother, Hershel II Wilkerson, all of Gadsden; and two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Banks, of Odenville and Mrs. Nita Kitchens, Gadsden.
