Mary A. Copp, 88, of Virginia Beach, Va., formerly Ford City, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011. Born in Ford City, Mary was the widow of Martin R. Copp. She is survived by two sons, John R. Copp and his wife, Nancy, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Robert M. Copp and his wife, Tammy, of Russellville, Ark.; a sister, Janet Vargo, of Kittanning; four brothers, Walter Kijowski, of Kittanning, and Leo, Leonard and Edmund Kijowski, of Ford City; five grandchildren, Margaret Scott and Erin, Colleen, Julie and Chris Copp; and four great-grandchildren, Madylan, Jackson, Meg and Anna Scott. She was predeceased by a sister, Rose; and two brothers, Frank and Alex. A funeral Mass for family only was conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Catholic Church of the Ascension with the Rev. James Parke. Burial followed in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton, Va. HOLLOMON-BROWN FUNERAL HOME, KEMPSVILLE CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
