Alvira was born in New York. Her parents were David Vroman and Sarah Baker. She married George Washington Kigar October 06, 1872. They had two known children Virgel and Gayetta. Gayetta Kigar was born about 1876 in Washington Twp., Henry Co., Ohio (residence in 1880 census). She died after 8 Jun 1880 in Washington Twp., Henry Co., Ohio (residence in 1880 census). Her sister Laura A. Vroman lived in Henry County, Ohio she married Hesakiah Roach. Other sibling Henry David killed in action in the Civil War, Etta Elizabeth, Jonas B. who died at the seige of Atlanta, Isaac William, Lena Mariah, and George W. Alvira remarried after George Kigar's death to man named Lewis C Henderson on August 23, 1921 at Henry County, Ohio.
