The Bulloch County native had resided in Evans County most of his life. He was a retired farmer. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors: one sister, Ella Ouida Tucker of Claxton and one half sister, Kathleen Costa of Connecticut; two half brothers, Garnett Kerby of Bluffton, SC, and Bobby Kerby of Colorado Springs, CO; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. until, Tuesday, December 3, at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home in Claxton.
Funeral: Wednesday, December 4, 11:00 a.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel.
