Margaret Kathleen Kibler Bodkin, 74, 760 Broadview Drive in Harrisonburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Bodkin was born Jan. 22, 1926, in Rockingham County, and was a daughter of the late Carsley Kibler and Mattie Baker Kibler.
She had lived all her life in the Harrisonburg community. She graduated from Keezletown High School. She was formerly a waitress at Howard Johnsons and Belle Meade Restaurants and had retired 25 years ago. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and member of the Eagles Aerie No. 4150.
On May 3, 1947, she married Irvin L. Bodkin, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons: Terry Lynn Bodkin, Richmond and Robin Eric Bodkin of Harrisonburg; one daughter, Susan Bodkin Robinson of Harrisonburg; and one brother, Gene Kibler of Harrisonburg.
The Rev. Glen Langston and the Rev. Don Fridinger will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday from the Chapel of the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
