Elaine D. Dolan, age 93, formerly of Grand Blvd. Ext., Shelby, died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Heritage Care Center in Shelby.

She was born May 6, 1915 in Mansfield the daughter of the late Roy and Bessie (Rothschild) Kibler. Elaine was a 1933 graduate of Shelby High School and retired as a secretary at Poland, Depler and Shepherd Law Offices. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Shelby,
and was a 64 year member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Shelby Post #291.

Elaine is survived by her son, Richard D. Koontz of Shelby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Dolan in 2001 and by two sisters, Helen Panovic and Opal Hershner.

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Tom Snyder officiating.
