Robert E. Kibler, 72, of 684 E. Main St. died Wednesday at 12:05 p.m. at his residence following an illness of several months.
Born May 10, 1899, in Unity Township, son of Daniel and Mary Hutter Kibler, he was caretaker at the August Lotze estate for 20 years prior to his retirement in 1965. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He married Anna C. Haupt Dec. 29, 1921.
Besides his widow, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Mercer of Canton; six sons, Dr. Daniel of Alliance, Robert Jr. of East Rochester, Dr. John of Columbus, Kenneth of East Liverpool and William and Donald, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Swickard of East Palestine; and six grandchildren.
