Phyllis Keyser Atkins, 61, of Culpeper Died Friday August 17, 2007 at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

She was born August 9, 1946 in Front Royal, Virginia to Donald Leroy Keyser and the late Nellie Mae Cameron Keyser.

Mrs. Atkins was a devoted wife and mother who was known for her outgoing spirit and the can-do attitude with which she fought her long battle with cancer.

Including her father, Donald L. Keyser, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, John M. Atkins; two sons, Duane Eddie Atkins and his wife, Rebecca and Darrell Marshall Atkins and his partner, Ryan and a daughter, Daphne Dawn Archilla and her husband, Juan, Additional survivors include three brothers, Donald Keyser of Washington, D. C., Lee Keyser of Huntley, West Virginia, and Leroy Keyser of Dale City and two sisters, Candy Ellis of Luray and Michelle McFarland of Bristow.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Christopher, Brian Romine, Darrell Austin Clark, Alex Duane Fincham and her stepmother, Pam Keyser.

Interment in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alvin Grisgby, Thomas Atkins, Ryan Harrison, Juan Archilla, Leroy Keyser and Lynn Atkins.
