Cecil Key of Sheridan died at the Grant County Nursing Home Thursday, October 26, at the age of 80.
He was born in Holly Springs, Arkansas, the son of the late Roy Key and Nora House Key. He was a retired employee of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, a World War II Army veteran, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Sheridan.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Hobbs Key; three stepsons, Talmadge B. England of Los Almos, New Mexico, Darwin C. England of Little Rock, and Ronnie Ritchey of Texas; a brother, Neal Key of Sheridan; two sisters, Ola Mae Scrimptshire of Malvern, and Allie Rogers of Louisiana; seven step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 28, with Rev. Harold Epperson officiating. Burial was in Lost Creek Cemetery by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
Pallbearers were Fred W. England, Curtis W. England, Chris A. Howard, Terry A. Howard, Nathan Easter. (newspaper unknown)
