Betty Jo Keun passed away on October 10, 2011, in Oklahoma City OK. She was born in Shawnee OK to La Fayette and Mary Etta Evans on January 7, 1928.

Betty loved life and the people and pets she shared it with. She had a special fondness for the stray cats where she lived, being sure they always had food. Her strong will kept her on this earth as long as possible, which allowed more time to enjoy the little things in life with her friends and family. She possessed a keen wit and sense of humor which has left many in her life with so many stories to share with others. Betty will be missed greatly by family, friends, and those who had the opportunity to get to know her and to see the truly kindhearted person she was.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Larry and both parents.

Betty is survived by her son David Tauscher of Plano TX; daughters Cathy Zaloudik of Tulsa OK and Marjorie Waldenville of Edmond OK; grandchildren Stephanie Gilley of Granbury TX, Ryan Zaloudik of Cordova TN, and Matthew and Eric Menendez of Edmond; and great-grandchildren Whitney and Courtney Gilley, and Tyson Zaloudik.

Services for Betty will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2011, at Fairlawn Cemetery.
