Bobby J. Ketchum, age 66, a well-known resident of the Black Hollow Community passed away Saturday, March 6, 2004 in the Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Washington County, Virginia, a son of the late Hugh Ketchum and late Hazel Nunley Ketchum. He was an employee of Black Diamond Enterprises for many years and worked at American Longwall before his retirement. He was also a veteran of the Untied States Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Ketchum, and two brothers, Hubert Ketchum and Don Ketchum.

Funeral services for Bobby J. Ketchum will be conducted at 8:00pm Monday, March 8, 2004 in the Campbell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00am Tuesday in the Pine Hill Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Hickman, Hobart Arnold, Terry Ketchum, James Nunley, Tim Scott, Timmy Scott, Larry Ketchum, Bill Casey, Bill Greer, and Floyd Mutter.
