Funeral services for Brenda Elaine Bible, 63, of Tulsa will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Key Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor with burial following at Mount Hope Cemetery in Afton. Viewing will be held on Monday and Tuesday from 9 AM- 6 PM at Key Funeral Home in Pryor. Brenda passed away on Sunday in Tulsa. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Pryor.

Brenda was born on August 13, 1948 in Afton. The daughter of B.D. "Shorty" and Patricia Lou (Roberts) Kersey, she grew up and attended school in Afton. She and Artie Leon Bible were married in February of 1965 in Miami. They made their home in Afton for a few years but then moved to Tulsa where they have lived ever since. Brenda attended Tulsa Tech in 1989 and earned her LPN license. She worked as an LPN for various hospitals in Tulsa until 1996 when she became disabled.

Brenda enjoyed camping, fishing, making stained glass, remodeling her home and upholstering furniture but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She loved her children, grandchildren and brothers and sisters. She was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma and sister and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her husband Leon of the home; 1 daughter- Cindy McCoy of Tulsa; 1 son- Andrew Pfuntner of Tulsa; 2 grandchildren- Brycen McCoy and Kaleb Pfuntner of Claremore; 3 brothers- Robert Kersey of Olathe, Kansas, Michael Kersey of Springfield, Missouri and John Kersey of Tulsa; 2 half brothers- Mike Orander of Vinita and Keese Orander of Langley; 3 half sisters- Michelle Elliott, Denise Orander and Rosa Orander all of Langley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
