Judith A. Kerouac, 65, of Kankakee, died Wednesday (Feb. 27, 2013) at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, Bourbonnais. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Kankakee. Father Robert Duda will officiate.

Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Bourbonnais. Memorials may be made to the Kankakee County Humane Foundation (www.k3chs.net) or to New Beginnings Cat Shelter (www.newbeginningscatshelter.org)

Ms. Kerouac was employed by B & J Sewing in Bourbonnais. She was a retired office manager from Gould National Battery. She was born Oct. 13, 1947, in Kankakee, the daughter of Leslie and Alice Book Kerouac. She enjoyed sewing.

Surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Billie Kerouac, and Dennis and Sharon Kerouac, all of Kankakee; three nieces, Kristina Kerouac, Jennifer Kerouac and Julie Williams; and one nephew, David Kerouac.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
