Excerpt--Mrs. Eleanor E. Kerns, 82, formerly of Winifred Rd., died Saturday at Memorial Hospital. She had been a patient at the Allegheny County Nursing Home for several years. Born Jan. 23, 1904 in Ridgeley, WV, she was a daughter of the late O. E. Hansrote and Maude V. (Riley) Hansrote Dawson. She was a member of the Grace Brethern Chruch, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Benjamin F. Harrison and Alonzo Kerns. Surviving are a half-brother, Harry Dawson of Westernport; one step-brother, Lester Dawson of Philadelpjia, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Barnes of Bowman's Addition; two half-sisters, Mrs. Lydia Kauffman of Ft. Ashby, WV, and Mrs. Mary Weaver of Bel Air, Cumberland. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
