Pearl E. Kern, 91, of Allentown, died March 31, 2015 in Phoebe Home. She was the wife of Arthur W. Kern, Sr. for 71 years. They were married on May 23, 1943. Born in Egypt, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mae (Guth) White. She was a homemaker and worked for Ritter Brothers Silk Mill for 16 years retiring in 1956. She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church.

Kern and wife Sandy of Allentown, Susan wife of Terry Weikel of Downingtown, Barbara wife of Jim Valentine of Sardinia, OH, and Arthur W. Kern, Jr. and wife Deborah of Wescosville; 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Services: Funeral Services Monday, April 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Western Salisbury Cemetery.
