She graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1976 with a Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics. Sharon was preceded in death by her father Homer E. Kerlin, and mother Josephine M. Kerlin, and sister Patsy K.Mcleod. She is survived by three brothers Wayne M. (Lucy) Kerlin, Larry H.(Debbie) Kerlin of Mobile, and Bruce A. (Beth) Kerlin of Mandeville, Louisiana along with numerous nieces and and nephews. The family will hold a private service.
