Lauretta "Jane" Bond (74) lost her battle with cancer on July 5, 2011. Jane (Keogh) Bond and her twin sister Joan were born on Christmas morning in 1936 to Patrick and Lauretta Keogh. Jane lived most of her life in Pend Oreille County and was well known in the social circles. Jane spent most of her life as a beautician and beauty school instructor in Spokane, Kennewick and Usk. Jane raised six kids of her own but was a mother figure to many more. She loved helping with the poker paddle, bowling, golfing, and any other activity that included socializing with her numerous friends and family. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and cherished her role as Chaplain. Jane's greatest joy in life was to spend time with her family and extended family. She lived life to the fullest and will be deeply missed by many. Jane is preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Lauretta Keogh, brothers Patrick, Jack, Duncan, and Mike Keogh, as well as sister Katie Byers and twin sister Joan Robinson. Jane is survived by her husband of 20 years, her [two] siblings, [six] children. She is also survived by six grandchildren, along with two great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. [Survivors names omitted.] In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 8th at 11AM at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Usk, WA.
