GRACE LOVINA KENT BERRY's parents were: Wallace Raymond & Martha Virginia Myers Kent. Grace was one of fourteen children. She married Fred Allen Berry on the 11th of Oct. 1944 in Parke County, Indiana. Grace had seven children - Agnes Joray, Darrell, Kenneth Irwin, Michael Eugene, Mary Virginia, Jeffrey Dale, and Patricia Ann Berry. SIBLINGS: Virginia Ester, Grace Lovina, Lois Arlene, Raymond Amos, Horace Raymond, Madeline Evelyn, Betty Joan, Marian Laverne, Alfred Lee, Charlotte Rose, Catherine Louise, Fred Harold, and Rozanne Kent. GRANDPARENTS: Wallace Elsey & Grace Rose Johnson Kent and Alfred Orville & Lovina Walton Myers.

ROCKVILLE - Grace L. Berry Purcifull, 80, of Rockville died at 8:18 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2005, in Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was a homemaker and housekeeper. She was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Parke County to Raymond Kent and Martha Johnson ? (Myers) Kent. Her husband of 45 years, Fred Berry, whom she married on Oct. 11, 1945, died in September 1991. Survivors include four sons, Darrell Berry and his wife Debby of McCordsville, Ken Berry and his wife Mary, and Mike Berry and his wife Brenda, all of Rockville, and Jeff Berry and wife Careen of Toronto, Ohio; two daughters, Mary Clark and her husband Bill, and Patty Stillwell and her husband Mark, all of Rockville; three sisters, Catherine Wheeler of Indianapolis, Charlotte Bratcher of Chicago and Lois Martin of Rockville; 12 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Agnes Joray Smith in 1995; and a granddaughter, Tricia Berry, in 1979. She attended grade school at Grange Corner and was a Marshall (Ind.) High School graduate. She attended Otterbein United Methodist Church. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday in Gooch Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. Daeschner officiating. Burial is in Mount Moriah Cemetery, north of Hollandsburg. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today, and before services Wednesday in the funeral home. If friends so desire, memorials may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, 2526 S. State Road 59, Rockville, IN 47872."
