Betty Fay Kennon Brown, a member of Alpha and Omega Free Holiness Church of God in Chatom, died May 5 at a hospital in Mobile. She was 51. A native of Chatom, Brown was a resident of Theodore. She was a former employee of the environmental services department of Infirmary West Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Bishop Willie Brown of Theodore; three daughters, Lashawdree Johnson and Kujwand Brown, both of Theodore, and Lorecia Bell of Mobile; three sons, Willie Brown Jr. of Mobile, and Gregory Brown and Anthony Tyrone Brown, both of Theodore; her mother and stepfather, the Rev. Nettie Bell and Joe Bell, both of Chatom; four sisters, Nettie Mitchell and Debra McKinnis, both of Chatom, Patricia Kennon James of Creola and Delores Pugh of Mount Vernon; and eight grandchildren. Viewing will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Alpha and Omega Holiness Church of God in Chatom. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at McIntosh Church of God Pentecostal in McIntosh. Burial will follow in Vaughn Cemetery. Jackson Memorial Funeral Home in Jackson is handling arrangements.
