Here are my notes for Kate, from her entry in my family tree file- Rick Waggener:

Genevieve Kenner, known most of her life as Kate, was the youngest of nine children born to her parents William Bryant and Mary Malinda (Swink) Kenner. She was almost seven years younger than her next oldest sibling. She was born in Jefferson County, Missouri on October. She was probably born and certainly grew up in her parents home on Kenner's Hill, which is actually just north of Festus. Festus actually didn't become a town until a year of two after Kate's birth.

In about 1908, Kate married Charles A. Baker. They reportedly lived for a while in Pennsylvania. One child was born to this marriage, a daughter Mary. Apparently the marriage did not last long and they divorced and Kate and Mary returned to live in her parent's home on Kenner's Hill. Apparently she lived there with a couple of her brothers until at least the early 1920's, and later moved to Festus. She never remarried, and lived the rest of her life in the area. She died in a nearby nursing home on February 28, 1958. -Rick Waggener
