"Kennedy, Saturday, February 11th 1922, at his residence, 110 5th Street N.E., Dennis, beloved husband of the late Emma Kennedy. Funeral from St. Joseph's Church Tuesday morning, February 14th where requiem mass will be said at 9a.m. for the repose of his soul.

Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery."

Would Adopt Stepdaughter / Dennis Kennedy Asks Court to Make Child His Legal Heir

"Dennis Kennedy, a grocer, of 913 East Capital Street, yesterday filed in the District Supreme Court a petition asking the court to legalize the adoption of Annie E. Raub, his stepdaughter.

Mr. Kennedy says in his petition that the little girl is the child of the late Samuel E. Raub and Emma I. Raub. The former Mrs. Raub is now Mrs. Kennedy, and desires to make the child is heir-at-law and to regard her as his own child."


Year of immigration: 1876; naturalized: 1895; Occupation: Grocer (1900 census); proprietor, Grocery Store (1910 census); Special Guard [government] (1920 census).
