WEST BRANCH, Iowa - Eunice Lois (Tefft) Kennedy, of West Branch, Iowa, formerly of Davenport, died Tuesday, June 1, 2005, at the Crestview Nursing and Rehab Center following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005, at the Springdale United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ruth Blayer officiating. Following the service, all are invited to join the family in a time of sharing and refreshments. Burial will be held at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Davenport. A memorial fund has been established. She was born June 19, 1913, in Davenport, the daughter of Erbert James and Ola (Ramsdell) Tefft. She was a graduate of Davenport High School and later attended teacher's college. She was united in marriage to Walter Kennedy. She lived in Davenport where she was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. She later moved to West Branch in 1992 where she attended the Springdale United Methodist Church. Survivors include her children, Lois Robyt, of Ames, Iowa, Dan Kennedy, of Peoria, Illinois, Sally Miller, of West Branch, Iowa, Janice Craig, of Abileen, Texas, Constance Tilman, of Indianola, Iowa, and Jay Kennedy, of Des Moines, Iowa. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter, daughter, Helen Louise Blanchard, one sister and two brothers.
